Watch-out for self-driving cars in action – the Drive Me project by Volvo.

Volvo said:

"We are making sure self-driving cars will fit seamlessly into your life – and into society – with the Drive Me project, our large-scale trial of IntelliSafe Autopilot technology. Carried out by real customers on real roads, it is likely to be the first of its kind in the world.:

Testing in the city
To make sure that our autonomous technology is optimised for real traffic we have selected some of Gothenburg’s most popular commuter routes for the Drive Me trial. They’re perfect for safe testing in a suburban environment, with average speeds of 70km/h, no pedestrians and plenty of separation between lanes.

Take control with IntelliSafe Autopilot

As with every Volvo Cars innovation, IntelliSafe Autopilot is intuitive to use. Discover how easy it will be to choose between conventional and autonomous driving thanks to Sensus, our intelligent way of connecting you with your car and the world.
